.SYNOPSIS...High temperatures at or slightly above normal over
the next seven days. Moisture also makes its way into the
region this week leading to thunderstorm chances Tuesday through
Friday east of Tucson.

.DISCUSSION...Building high pressure aloft to our east this week
will bring normal to slightly above normal high temperatures to
the area. Moisture push in the eastern areas this week will bring
a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms to areas mainly
east of a Safford to Bisbee line Tue thru Fri.

SKC. SFC winds terrain driven and less than 10 kts thru 31/17z
and then again after 01/04z. Btwn 31/17z and 01/04z, SFC winds
WLY/NWLY 8-12 kts with ocnl gusts up to 20 kts. Aviation

.FIRE WEATHER...Warm with dry conditions across Southeast
Arizona into early this week. Min RH values will be in the 6-18
percent range in the valleys and in the 12-20 percent range in
the mountains through this week. 20-foot winds will generally
be below 15 mph through this week except for easterly to
southeasterly breezes by the middle of the week, mainly for
areas east of Tucson. By Tuesday, moisture will move into the
region, providing chances for rain showers and thunderstorms.
Wednesday has the highest chances of 15 to 45 percent chances,
mainly east of Tucson. Chances can linger along the New Mexico
State line and in the White Mountains in the second half of the
week.
