An area of low pressure passed well to the south of the Northland on the 7th into the 8th. While most of the snowfall associated with this system remained to the south of the Northland, some parts of northwest Wisconsin did end up on the fringe of the system and received snowfall of up to around 4 inches for the event.

An area of low pressure passed well to the south of the Northland on the 7th into the 8th. While most of the snowfall associated with this system remained to the south of the Northland, some parts of northwest Wisconsin did end up on the fringe of the system and received snowfall of up to around 4 inches for the event. There were a few pockets of higher snowfall in parts of Washburn, Sawyer and Price counties were totals of 6 to 6.5 were received.
