A fast moving clipper system and cold front moved across NY and New England on December 7th. Snow quickly overspread during the afternoon hours and exited before midnight. A widespread 3 to 6 inches of snow was observed in northern sections, 2 to 5 inches in central sections and a dusting to 2 inches in southern areas.
