The Nevada Department of Transportation mesonet station at Sweetwater Summit (SWWNV) recorded a wind gust of 60 mph. Also, a Desert Research Institute mesonet station 2 S of Smith Valley recorded a wind gust of 56 mph.

The Nevada Department of Transportation mesonet station 2.3 NE Washoe City (GLCNV) recorded a wind gust of 91 mph. The Galena RAWS (GALN2) recorded a wind gust of 74 mph. Additionally, there were reports of several of overturned semi-trucks in the area, including a rollover on SR-439 near Norway Dr. Finally, there was a rollover semi-truck on I-580 near Galena Creek.
