With surface low pressure well to the southeast and continued northwesterly flow of Arctic air, clear skies and fresh snow cover from the 1-3'' of snow that fell the 14th-15th in southern portions of SEMO allowed for frigid temperatures and wind chill values. Lows dropped to 0-5 degrees across SEMO.

With surface low pressure well to the southeast and continued northwesterly flow of Arctic air, clear skies and fresh snow cover from the 1-3'' of snow that fell the 14th-15th in southern portions of SEMO allowed for frigid temperatures and wind chill values. Lows dropped to 0-5 degrees across SEMO. Minimum wind chills ranged from -4 in Sikeston to -15 in Perryville.
