A summertime convective pattern was in place during the day on the 25th. However there was drier air aloft than normal, aiding in the downward transport of the strongest cell. The strongest cell happened to be over portions of Mandeville where the cell produced a rather impressive downburst, damaging multiple trees around a hospital.
