A few of these thunderstorms quickly pulsed and managed to reach severe limits in Caldwell Parish where instability was maximized during the afternoon peak heating.

Scattered thunderstorms developed late in the afternoon on September 24th across Deep East Texas and North Louisiana along a slow-moving frontal boundary draped across the region. A few of these thunderstorms quickly pulsed and managed to reach severe limits in Caldwell Parish where instability was maximized during the afternoon peak heating. As a result, a few reports of damaging winds and large hail were documented near Columbia, Clarks, and Grayson.
