Winds increased during the morning of October 12th, with both Brevig Mission (PFKT) and Wales (PFKT) AWOS stations reporting frequent gusts near 60 mph throughout the afternoon hours. Winds gusted as high as 61 mph at Wales. Winds diminished during the late evening and overnight hours.

Winds increased during the morning of October 12th, with the Gambell Marine Exchange C-MAN station reporting frequent gusts of 60 mph and higher. Winds gusted as high as 67 mph. These winds continued through the early evening hours of October 13th before diminishing.
