What happened

The episode as NWS GLD wrote it up.

In the early morning hours of the 25th, a low pressure system caused a snow system to form over eastern Colorado and move to the northeast. As it moved into Nebraska throughout the day, snow began accumulating. In the early evening hours, moisture began wrapping around the surface low pressure system and caused heavy snow rates to fall in a relatively small portion of southwest Nebraska. One location in southwest Nebraska reported 10 inches of snow which lead to a reduction in visibility and driving conditions.
