Stronger frontal forcing resulted in snow accumulations from 2 to 6 inches.

An upper-level short-wave and mid-level front produced areas of light to moderate snow across far southeast South Dakota, northwest Iowa, and northeast Nebraska during the late evening of March 22nd into the early overnight hours of March 23rd. Stronger frontal forcing resulted in snow accumulations from 2 to 6 inches. In addition, thundersnow and periods of graupel were observed at times. Winds were relatively weak with this system, such that overall impacts were minimal.
