Widespread rainfall occurred on the afternoon and evening of February 12, developing across the coastal mountain slopes and moving westward towards the coast in San Diego County. Lightning was reported across coastal areas as well as the deserts. The heaviest rainfall occurred across the valleys where general 0.50-0.75 were reported, with the highest amount of 1.39 recorded at Harbison Canyon.

Snow fell across the Riverside County Mountains early in the morning on February 13. The Mt San Jacinto Long Valley Ranger Station at the top of the Palm Springs Tram reported 3 inches of snow at 8400 feet.
