COOP Observer in Hoonah measured 5.8 inches of new snow at 8am on the 15th and was still snowing lightly. Two reports from Facebook included noted a total of 8 inches in Hoonah with one including 4 inches of that falling between 3-7am.
Multiple spotters in Haines and south along the Chilkat Peninsula reported heavy snow, including 6 to 12 inches measured in the first 12 hours of the event and storm totals ranging from 11 to 17 inches. Much lighter amounts were observed up the Haines Highway.
COOP Observer in Pelican measured 13.4 inches of new snow at 8am on the 15th and was still snowing moderately. Their report the following day had another 2.1 inches of snow but had changed to rain. Another report from Facebook included a photo of around 1 foot of snow at the Inian Islands in the same zone.
Multiple spotters in the Juneau Mendenhall Valley and on Douglas Island reported heavy snow, including around 8 inches measured by 8 am on the 15th. Storm totals ranged from 6 to 14 inches. Lower amounts were measured near Lena Point and out the road.
COOP Observer in Hyder measured 2.8 inches of snow early on the 15th and another 12.6 inches had fallen by the following morning. Nearby Stewart B.C. observation site measured over 9 inches of snow by 4pm AKST on the 15th and was still snowing moderately.
