A cold front moved through the Mid-South on January 6th, 2022. Cold air filtered in behind the front. A surface low pressure system moved along the front providing enough moisture to result in heavy snow. Three to six inches of snow fell across northwestern Tennessee causing dangerous to impossible travel conditions.
