These snow showers produced brief periods of moderate snowfall, although generally an inch or less of accumulation was observed. However, this was enough to slicken roads in some spots.

A broken band of snow showers produced a quick inch of snow across portions of Centre County during the early morning hours of December 17, 2022. This short-lived snowfall produced slick conditions on area roads, and PA Route 350 was closed in both directions in Rush Township for a couple of hours due to icy conditions and several disabled vehicles.
