A weak frontal boundary began to develop across southeast Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Convergence along this boundary became the focus for a few thunderstoms to develop. The evening upper air sounding at LIX indicated mid level temperatures cool enough to support severe thunderstorms with hail.
