A line of severe thunderstorms moved through northeast Louisiana on the evening of May 15th. Widespread damaging winds brought down a number of trees, including several that fell onto structures and vehicles. Outflow from these thunderstorms created a dust storm across northeast Louisiana as visibilities dropped to one quarter of a mile before the rain started.

Several trees were downed in the city of Oak Grove as well as across West Carroll Parish.
Multiple trees were blown down across the city of Lake Providence with several roads blocked.
A tree was blown down across Peanut Road.
A tree was blown down near the intersection of US Highway 65 and Louisiana State Route 580.
Trees were blown down west of Tallulah along US Highway 80. Another tree fell onto a car in the 600 block of Poplar Street in the city of Tallulah.
