High pressure will continue across the area today through mid next week, with an afternoon sea breeze near the coast each day. Scattered to numerous showers and storms are again expected to develop this afternoon and continuing through this evening. Temps aloft are still rather cold, though not quite as cold as yesterday, so some hail will again be possible with stronger storms. Localized urban flooding will also be possible in storms with little movement. Some drier air moves over the area for Monday, dropping rain chances to 20-40 percent. Moisture gradually moderates then through mid-week. Current forecast is on track with all this. Have adjusted highs up a couple of degrees near the coast, with the update already out. && .AVIATION... E/SE flow will turn onshore at the coastal terminals this afternoon, then all sites become light and variable in the evening and overnight hours. Showers and storms will be possible mainly 19-01z, with MVFR to IFR conditions and gusty winds in storms. VFR conditions otherwise prevail. && .MARINE... Ridging will continue across the waters through mid next week. Flow during the period will be east to southeast with an afternoon sea breeze near the coast each day. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible each afternoon and evening as convection from over land pushes offshore. As we go into the later part of the week, ridging will shift south of the area resulting in a change in flow from the west to southwest.
