A low pressure system brought a wintry mix of precipitation to the region during the evening hours of Friday, January 1st into the morning of Saturday, January 2nd, 2021. Snowfall totals were minimal and ranged from about 0.5 inches up to 3 inches. Minor ice accumulations also occurred but were constrained to Dutchess, Montgomery and Ulster counties. Total ice accumulations up to 0.10 occurred in these counties.
