Wind chills of 30 to 40 below were common with the coldest values of 44 below occurring near Canton (Fillmore County) and in Rochester (Olmsted County).

Wind chills of 30 to 40 below were common with the coldest values of 44 below occurring near Canton (Fillmore County) and in Rochester (Olmsted County). Several schools across the region utilized a two late start on the 14th.
