Cold air poured into the region behind a cold front during the overnight hours of February 26th into the 27th, with rain changing over to snow. While most areas received minor accumulation, west-northwest flow provided higher snow totals in upslope-prone areas.
Deaths and injuries are direct and indirect together, as the offices filed them. Damage is property and crops in the dollars of the year, not adjusted for inflation, and only where an office estimated it.

While most areas received minor accumulation, west-northwest flow provided higher snow totals in upslope-prone areas. Several inches of accumulation were observed into the morning of the 27th.

Most locations reported two to three inches of accumulation in the county, although a high total of 5.5 inches was observed by a trained spotter in Mountain Lake Park.
