An area of low pressure moved from the Texas Panhandle to the Ohio Valley on the 11th into the 12th. An inverted trough then set up off the low and passed through northeastern Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. An area of enhanced lift moved through north-central Wisconsin and contributed to higher snowfall amounts in the Price, Ashland and Iron County area. Snowfall totals in northwest Wisconsin ranged from 5 to 15 with numerous reports of 14 to 15 near Phillips and 14 in Gile.
