Runoff from heavy rainfall caused flooding along Hat Creek and its smaller tributaries, Duck Creek, and Plains Creek. The flooding compromised a culvert on Highway 71 about 4 miles north of Ardmore and a county road bridge just east of Ardmore was washed away.
