Vertically-stacked low pressure drifted northward across the upper Ohio Valley on April 20th. The cold pool associated with the upper low aided in the generation of thunderstorms during the afternoon. A few reports of hail were received, a couple of which reached an inch in diameter. Due to training thunderstorms, some pockets of heavy rain were observed as well, but no reports of flooding were received.
