A cold front moved through the Northland bringing snowfall and wintry mix to the region the 20th into the 21st. Lake enhancement along the North Shore of Lake Superior led to heavier snowfall amounts in the Minnesota Arrowhead, with reports of 6 to 10 inches from northern St. Louis County eastward to Lake Superior. A spotter 12 miles north Hovland received 11 inches of snowfall due to lake enhancement.
