A quick-hitting storm with heavy snow began overnight of the 30th ending from the west in the morning. Snow amounts ranged from 6 to nearly 12 inches. Snow totals across northwest Wisconsin include 11.5 inches in Hayward area, 9 inches near Butternut, 10 inches in Minong, and 6 inches in Gordon.
