Snowfall totals ranged from 5 to 10 inches across the area with up to 11.7 inches reported from a location 0.6 miles north-northwest of Steamboat Springs.

Generally 6 to 12 inches of snow were measured across the area. Locally higher amounts included 15 inches at the Vail Ski Area snow stake. Travel was negatively impacted over portions of Interstate 70, including Vail Pass which was closed more than once due to multiple vehicle accidents. Additionally, the slick and snowpacked roads resulted in multiple accidents on Colorado Highway 24, including a jack-knifed semi truck.
