A strong but shallow cold front moved through Southwest Arkansas during the afternoon hours on February 10th. Temperatures fell to freezing across much of Southwest Arkansas by daybreak on the 11th, and remained at or below freezing during the daytime hours as a weak upper level disturbance traversed Northern and Eastern Texas into Southwest Arkansas.

A strong but shallow cold front moved through Southwest Arkansas during the afternoon hours on February 10th. Temperatures fell to freezing across much of Southwest Arkansas by daybreak on the 11th, and remained at or below freezing during the daytime hours as a weak upper level disturbance traversed Northern and Eastern Texas into Southwest Arkansas. Scattered areas of light freezing rain mixed with sleet fell across portions of Northeast Texas and Southwest Arkansas, but only trace amounts of freezing rain and sleet were recorded across Little River, Sevier, Howard, Hempstead, Miller, and Lafayette Counties, with very little if any impacts observed.
