An Alberta Clipper low pressure area tracked southeast across far southern WI bringing several inches of snow mainly north of the Milwaukee Metropolitan area. Lake effect snow also contributed to the overall snow totals. Snow amounts of 1 to 5 inches produced slick roads and numerous slide-offs and accidents.
