A spring storm system brought rain and snow to southwestern South Dakota. Rain changed to snow overnight and continued into the morning. Snowfall amounts were generally a few inches; however, higher elevations of the southern Black Hills from Pringle and Wind Cave to near Custer received more than six inches of snow.
