Deaths and injuries are direct and indirect together, as the offices filed them. Damage is property and crops in the dollars of the year, not adjusted for inflation, and only where an office estimated it.

..Updated Air Quality section...
.SYNOPSIS...A Pacific storm system will move into the region
tonight through Friday. High pressure will return for the weekend
with dry weather before another storm system moves into Central
California Monday and Tuesday.
&&
.DISCUSSION...Last of today's fog dissipated over the center of
the San Joaquin Valley shortly before noon. Satellite imagery now
shows lots of mid level alto cumulus clouds moving east across the
region well in advance of the incoming Pacific storm. Upstream
radar from the Bay Area shows precipitation stretching from the
peninsula to the North Bay and then east into the Sacramento area.
Latest timing from forecast models brings the precipitation into
western Merced County shortly after midnight and then spreads it
southeast through the night time hours.
This first system has distinct bands of precipitation out ahead of
the low center which is currently near 38N/135W. The first as
mentioned above will move through tonight and Thursday morning and
given satellite images a break will occur Thursday afternoon and
Thursday night before the second band, now crossing 130W moves
through on Friday. I have kept rather high pops as the sum of the
two waves will give nearly everyone over the north a chance of
some rain or snow. Speaking of snow, freezing levels with this
system will average around 6000-6500 feet which will keep most
winter sports areas in the snow and above the rain.
Latest forecast precipitation shows lower end winter storm
warning values will occur in zone 96 and lesser amounts to the
south for advisory conditions. By Saturday, latest GFS model
moves the second wave east of the area with ridging building in
from the west. Pops have been trimmed back for Saturday with
Sunday remaining dry.
The next storm system is progged to arrive Sunday night and Monday
and linger into Tuesday before ridging builds back over the region
later Tuesday and Wednesday for a return again to dry weather.

.AVIATION...
