KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON THE PROGRESSION OF WINDS OUT NEAR ARLINGTON
AND ELK MOUNTAIN...AND ALSO ALONG THE SOUTHERN LARAMIE RANGE AS
WIND GUSTS ARE BOUNCING AROUND QUITE A BIT BETWEEN 35 AND 45 MPH.
THIS COULD BE A SIGNAL THAT MOUNTAIN WAVE ACTIVITY IS RAMPING UP
AHEAD OF THE INITIAL SHORTWAVE MOVING UP FROM THE
SOUTHWEST...WHICH SHOULD BE THE TRIGGER FOR THE INITIAL BOUT OF
GUSTY WINDS OVERNIGHT ALONG AND WEST OF THE LARAMIE RANGE.
