Cold northwest flow behind the passage of a strong front brought a period of upslope/lake enhanced snow to the counties north of interstate 80 and in the high terrain of West Virginia and Maryland. Snow totals ranged from 3-6 inches in most cases, but a persistent band of snow over northern PA resulted in 8-10 inches in Venango county.

Cold northwest flow behind the passage of a strong front brought a period of upslope/lake enhanced snow to the counties north of interstate 80 and in the high terrain of West Virginia and Maryland. Snow totals ranged from 3-6 inches in most cases, but a persistent band of snow over northern PA resulted in 8-10 inches in Venango county. In addition, 10.5 inches of snow was reported in the highest elevations of eastern Tucker county.
