Three people died from exposure to prolonged heat in the city of Philadelphia. One person was in Northeast Philadelphia the second in Fox Chase and the third in Grays Ferry.
As the offices recorded each death: direct deaths were caused by the weather itself, indirect ones by something it set in motion.
