County comms reported multiple trees blown down on East Morris St.
County comms reported Whitner Creek overflowed its banks on the west side of downtown Anderson after more than three inches of rain fell in only a couple of hours. Multiple homes were flooded along Cunningham Dr, with additional property damage reported nearby along Mimosa Park.
County comms reported a portion of Highway 25 was closed near the Highway 67 intersection after flooding developed due to poor drainage. Two to three inches of rain fell in the area in a couple of hours.
County comms reported up to two feet of water covered a low spot on Gardendale Rd because of poor drainage after a couple of inches of rain fell in a short period of time.
