Snowfall averaged one to around three inches in the Poconos and Northern Berks and Lehigh Counties and closer to one inch in the rest of the Lehigh Valley.

A cold front coupled with an upper air disturbance triggered bands of accumulating snow showers across Berks County, the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos on the morning of the 18th. Snowfall averaged one to around three inches in the Poconos and Northern Berks and Lehigh Counties and closer to one inch in the rest of the Lehigh Valley. The snow showers started between 2 a.m. EST and 4 a.m. EST on the 18th and occurred until 8 a.m. EST in Berks County and the Lehigh Valley and until 11 a.m. EST in the Poconos. The snow showers were heavy at times in the Poconos. Untreated roadways became slippery.

Representative snowfall included 3.0 inches in Lake Harmony and Albrightsville in Carbon County and Reeders in Monroe County, 2.5 inches in Schnecksville (Lehigh County) and Bushkill Township (Northampton County), 2.3 inches in Slatington (Lehigh County) and Pocono Summit (Monroe County), 1.5 inches in East Stroudsburg (Monroe County), 1.3 inches in Martins Creek (Northampton County), 1.0 inch at the Lehigh Valley International Airport and Bath (Northampton County) and 0.8 inches in Fleetwood (Berks County).
