What happened

The episode as NWS DLH wrote it up.

Waves as high as 6 feet washed a man into the lake as he was sitting on a rock along the shore of Lake Superior at Bluefin Bay Resort. Both men drowned. Winds measured by the Grand Marais ASOS were northeast from about 10 to 15 miles an hour since midnight but were decreasing to under 10 mph at the time of the drownings.
