By mid-morning on the 1st many locations in the North Georgia mountains had received generally between a trace and 1 inch of snow, with a few locations in the higher elevations reporting up to 2 inches. Due to warm ground conditions roads across the majority of this area remained clear, with some slushy conditions reported at higher elevations.
