As an upper level low pressure system moved across Middle Tennessee during the late evening hours on Tuesday, March 5th through the mid morning hours on Wednesday, March 6th, significant accumulating snowfall amounts occured in locations across northern portions of the mid state along with the Cumberland Plateau Region. This resulted in a significant impact to commerce and transportation in these locations.
