FOG FORMATION ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE OZARK PLATEAU. AREA WEB CAMS
SHOW DIMINISHING VISIBILITY AND ASOS/AWOS REPORTS INDICATE 1/2SM
AND 1/4SM AT SEVERAL LOCATIONS. AS A RESULT...A DENSE FOG ADVISORY
HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR AREAS ALONG AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM NEOSHO TO
SPRINGFIELD TO ROUND SPRING FOR THE REMAINDER OF TONIGHT.

CURRENTLY WE HAVE LIGHT RAIN OVER OUR SOUTHERN COUNTIES WITH SNOW
PERSISTING NEAR THE NORTH CENTRAL/NORTHWEST EDGE OF THE FORECAST
AREA. TEMPERATURES WERE A FEW DEGREES ABOVE FREEZING SO MUCH OF
THE SNOW RECEIVED EARLIER TODAY WAS MELTING. THE COLD FRONT
EXTENDS FROM NEAR COLUMBIA TO JOPLIN AND WAS MAKING SLOW PROGRESS
SOUTHWARD.

OVERALL OUR PROSPECTS FOR ACCUMULATING WINTRY PRECIP ARE
DECREASING AS A DRY SLOP BECOMES BETTER DEVELOPED TO OUR
SOUTHWEST. THE AIRMASS WILL REMAIN QUIET SATURATED BELOW THE DRY
SLOT ALOFT SO STILL THINK FREEZING DRIZZLE IS POSSIBLE FROM MID
EVENING ON WHEN TEMPS FALL BELOW FREEZING. BEST CHANCES FOR SNOW
WILL BE ALONG OUR NORTHERN COUNTIES CLOSER TO THE DEFORMATION ZONE

WEEK. HIGHS ON TUESDAY WILL STRUGGLE TO CLIMB OUT OF THE 20S AS
HIGHS TOP OUT IN THE UPPER 20S TO THE LOWER 30S.

FOR THE REST OF THE WORK WEEK HIGHS WILL GENERALLY TOP OUT IN THE
30S EACH AFTERNOON AS LOWS FALL IN THE 20S AND TEENS EACH NIGHT. A

CONTINUE MAINLY ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM FORT SCOTT KANSAS
TO OSAGE BEACH THROUGH 3 AM. A VERY THIN GLAZE OF ICE IS POSSIBLE
AS TEMPERATURES SLOWLY FALL BELOW FREEZING. ANY ADDITIONAL SNOW
ACCUMULATION WILL BE LESS THAN ONE INCH AND WILL LIKELY BE
CONFINED TO NORTHERN PORTIONS OF BENTON...MORGAN...MILLER AND
MARIES COUNTIES.

THE REMAINDER OF THE MISSOURI OZARKS CAN EXPECT AREAS OF DRIZZLE
