A weak Alberta Clipper low pressure system that moved through Pennsylvania helped drop 1 to 2 inches of snow across the Poconos and parts of the Lehigh Valley during the afternoon and early evening of the 29th. Snow began falling around Noon EST and ended during the early evening. Untreated roads were slippery. Specific accumulations included 2.0 inches in Slatington (Lehigh County), 1.5 inches in Pocono Summit (Monroe County) and Palmerton (Carbon County), 1.3 inches in Tobyhanna (Monroe County), 0.9 inches in Allentown (Lehigh County) and 0.6 inches in Martins Creek (Northampton County).
