THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE WESTERN NEBRASKA
PANHANDLE...SOUTHEAST WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

VERY COLD AIR TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TONIGHT WITH WINDS BETWEEN
20 TO 30 MPH AND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH IN THE EVENING. THIS WILL
RESULT IN WIND CHILLS OF 15 TO 25 BELOW ZERO...WITH SOME
LOCATIONS NORTH OF THE NORTH PLATTE RIVER VALLEY SEEING WIND
CHILLS NEAR 25 BELOW ZERO BY MIDNIGHT. A WIND CHILL ADVISORY HAS
BEEN ISSUED FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING THROUGH 8 AM THANKSGIVING DAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

A BITTERLY COLD START TO THANKSGIVING DAY IS EXPECTED WITH LOW
TEMPERATURES RANGING IN THE SINGLE DIGITS TO SINGLE DIGITS BELOW
ZERO. AREAS ALONG AND NORTH OF THE NORTH PLATTE RIVER VALLEY WILL
SEE WIND CHILLS NEAR 25 DEGREES BELOW ZERO DURING THE MORNING
HOURS...WITH WIND CHILLS BETWEEN 15 BELOW TO 20 BELOW SOUTH OF THE
NORTH PLATTE RIVER. VERY WINDY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH
THE DAY...ESPECIALLY ACROSS WYOMING.

THE NEXT STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING ANOTHER ROUND OF LIGHT SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS TO THE AREA SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL WYOMING...
SOUTH CENTRAL WYOMING AND SOUTHEAST WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

VERY COLD AIR WILL SETTLE OVER THE AREA THIS EVENING WITH
AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW. AIR TEMPERATURES ARE ALREADY BELOW ZERO IN
A FEW LOCATIONS. FRIGID TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TONIGHT WITH
LOWS BETWEEN MINUS 5 TO MINUS 15 DEGREES. GUSTY WEST WINDS WILL
CONTINUE WITH SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS BETWEEN 20 TO 35 MPH AND
LOCALIZED GUSTS UP TO 55 POSSIBLE. STRONG WINDS COMBINED WITH
FRIGID AIR TEMPERATURES WILL CREATE DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS TONIGHT
BELOW MINUS 30 DEGREES.

WIND CHILLS THIS LOW ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. RESIDENTS ARE URGED
TO STAY INDOORS OR ADD EXTRA LAYERS OF CLOTHES TO COVER ALL
EXPOSED SKIN IF YOU MUST GO OUTDOORS TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

FRIGID WIND CHILLS BELOW MINUS 30 ARE EXPECTED EARLY THANKSGIVING
MORNING WITH AIR TEMPERATURES AROUND 10 BELOW. LOCALIZED BLOWING
SNOW IS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE HIGHER MOUNTAIN PASSES THROUGH
THANKSGIVING DAY. IN ADDITION...A HIGH WIND WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR
PORTIONS OF THE AREA WITH STRONG WINDS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE
THROUGH THANKSGIVING EVENING.

THE NEXT STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING ANOTHER ROUND OF LIGHT SNOW
