Cedar City received 6 inches of new snow. In addition, a major pileup occurred on Interstate 15 near Beaver during the winter weather; two semitrailer trucks jackknifed on northbound I-15, setting off a chain-reaction accident involving 10 other vehicles, and the highway was closed or significantly slowed for an extended period of time during the cleanup.
