4 thunderstorm wind, 3 flash flood, 1 hail, 1 lightning. Local standard time, as filed.
Straight line winds knocked down trees on Highway 25 just southwest of New Salem.
Penny to quarter size hail fell near Paris.
Straight line winds knocked numerous trees down in Tupelo.
Heavy rain produced flash flooding near Verona. Highway 145 near the Research and Extension Center was flooded and impassable as a result.
Straight line winds knocked down a few trees across Eastern Itawamba County.
Straight line winds knocked down several trees and power lines from Tupelo to Saltillo. A century-old Pin Oak fell on a house in Tupelo and caused extensive roof damage. The tree also took out the windshield and driver's side window of a pickup truck.
As much as 4 inches of rain fell near Tremont resulting in flash flooding. Paaper Springs Road was flooded as a result.
Lightning struck a house near Ellistown and started a fire. The fire destroyed half the home.
As much as 3.5 inches of rain fell near Ripley resulting in flash flooding. Many roads and driveways were washed out resulting in damage across Northwest portions of Ripley.
