What happened

The episode as NWS SHV wrote it up.

A very unstable airmass developed across the four state region during the afternoon and early evening hours of June 7th. Steering flow was really week...yet storms developed along old outflow boundaries which originated across southwest Louisiana and deep east Texas. These boundaries would slowly move northward with new convection firing along the outflow boundary. One of these boundaries made its way into northwest Louisiana with an isolated severe thunderstorm developing in Caddo Parish.
