A weak trough moving across Tennessee brought a mix of rain and snow to southern Indiana. Light snow accumulated to around 1 inch during the morning of Friday, Feb 5th along a line extending from Washington to Jefferson county, Indiana before changing to rain by early afternoon. Rain changed to snow early on Feb 6th as a weak surface low moved into eastern Kentucky. A thin strip of 4 to 6 inches of snow accumulated across portions of Floyd, Washington and Scott counties.
