Cause: Ice Jam

An ice jam along the White River caused water to backup in the Meeker area, resulting in areas of minor flooding. Cold overnight temperatures also contributed to the continuation of ice build-up. Areas in the park below the 10th Street bridge were affected, and rising water also threatened several homes in neighborhoods along 8th and 9th Streets.
