A strengthening upper level storm system developed over Nebraska late on 30th and early on the 1st. A strong cold front moved southeast through Oklahoma, and thunderstorms began to develop along the front around midday over northeast Oklahoma, and continued building southwest into eastern into south central Oklahoma.

A strengthening upper level storm system developed over Nebraska late on 30th and early on the 1st. A strong cold front moved southeast through Oklahoma, and thunderstorms began to develop along the front around midday over northeast Oklahoma, and continued building southwest into eastern into south central Oklahoma. Many of the thunderstorms became severe with strong winds and heavy rainfall reported over many areas. Minimal damage was reported.
