Intensifying low pressure tracking across the Gulf of Maine brought heavy snow to northern and northwest Maine. The snow began during the afternoon of the 7th...then continued through the early morning hours of the 8th. Storm total snow accumulations ranged from 6 to 11 inches. The snow mixed with sleet and freezing rain at times...with ice accumulations 1/10 of an inch or less.
