Freezing rain made road conditions treacherous primarily in the northern half of the county. A number of one-vehicle accidents occurred in Dover and out in the county, according to Stewart County Sheriff's Office. Some of those included several accidents on Tenn. 120 and on Bumpus Mills Road. The Dover Police Department worked a couple on the Dover Bridge and three in front of the Dollar Store. At one point, at about 0800CST, city and county officials were stationed at either end of the Dover Bridge to caution motorists.
