MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY...THEN PUSHES OFF THE SOUTHEAST COAST ON
WEDNESDAY. ANOTHER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED WARM FRONT
WILL APPROACH THE REGION FROM THE SOUTHWEST ON THURSDAY...THEN

LINGERS OVER THE FCST AREA WITH THE GUSTY NRLY LLVL FLOW. PRECIP
WILL BECOME MORE SHOWERY IN NATURE...THOUGH CONTINUE MOST
WIDESPREAD/FREQUENT (AT LEAST EARLY ON) OVER FAR NERN PTNS OF THE
FCST AREA (LWR MD ERN SHORE). ELSEWHERE...EXPECT MAINLY SCATTERED
SHOWERS. WILL BE VERY DIFFICULT TO GET BREAKS IN THE CLOUD COVER

Coastal flooding at times of high tide contributed to several roads, including parts of Coastal Highway in Ocean City, being closed. Police closed the Inlet parking lot due to flooding. Also, coastal flooding resulted in a sailboat rising to street level near Edgewater Avenue and 11th Street, as the Isle of Wight Bay overtook the shoreline.

Coastal flooding resulted in many areas in low lying sections of Crisfield being under water, including Cove Street, Fourth Street, lower Main Street, Wynfall Avenue, and the Harbour Lights condominiums. Water covered the City Dock and also came within two feet of the fire department doors several blocks away. Hall Highway, the main route to McCready Memorial Hospital, also was flooded but still passable. Much of Crisfield, as well as the waterfront communities of Smith Island, Fairmount, Rumbley, Frenchtown, Deal Island and Mount Vernon saw tidal surges of several inches to nearly two feet. In Wenona, Deal Island Road was covered with a foot of water.
